NOTICE OF ROAD PAVING
Borough contractors are scheduled to repave North Kelly Drive, South Kelly Drive, and Morgan Way during the week of Monday, September 14, 2026, WEATHER PERMITTING.
- While paving work is in progress, on-street parking will be prohibited between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Please plan accordingly and arrange for vehicles to be parked off the street during these hours.
- We are working with the appropriate parties to coordinate recycling collection and school bus traffic during this project. Additional information will be provided as arrangements are finalized.
- Residents are also asked to remove all trash cans, basketball hoops/nets, and other items from the roadway while this work is taking place to help the paving operation proceed safely and efficiently.
The Borough will provide updates regarding the paving schedule and any traffic or access changes through its OnSolve CodeRED public notification system.

RECYCLING BIDS
The Borough is accepting bids for recycling services. Bids are due September 17, 2026 no later than 10:00 a.m. To access the bid package click here

PUBLIC PARKING AVAILABLE
The Borough-owned lot between 109 & 115 North Furnace is now open for parking of passenger cars and non-commercial vans/pick-up trucks with valid registration and inspection. All other vehicles will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. Lot access located on Plum Street.

PennDOT Traffic Data Collection Through the months of March through November 2026, PennDOT will be collecting traffic data on municipal roads throughout Berks County. The data will be used analyzed to help PennDOT make decisions on safety, design, and operation of local roadways. Listing of affected roads in Birdsboro.
