Christmas Tree Pickup
The annual tree pickup has begun. Please remove decorations and place tree at your curb.
Until further notice, the Berks County Sheriff’s Department will not be issuing firearm carry permits at the Birdsboro Borough Hall location the third Monday of each month.
Effective the first week of January 2021, Western Berks Emergency Medical Service (WBEMS) will provide ambulance service to Birdsboro Borough. This change requires no action on your part. You will continue to dial 911 in a medical emergency. For more information on WBEMS click here.
Animal Control Services
Beginning January 1st, 2021, Birdsboro Borough will have animal control services provided through Safety Net Sanctuary. For more information on this please click here.
Hazardous Waste Disposal
It is the Berk’s County Solid Waste Authority’s intent to once again hold spring and fall hazardous waste collections in 2021. Please keep in mind that latex paint is NOT a hazardous material and will not be accepted at these collections, click HERE to see the flyer about proper latex paint disposal.
