BURN ORDINANCE SUMMARY Burning shall be permitted on the 1st weekend of each month provided an application is made for the permit to the Borough Fire Marshall at least 7 days in advance. Burning, in all cases, must be done at least 50 feet from any building, fence, hedge, or combustible material. Burning must be done in an approved container. For specifics, kindly consult the Borough Burn Ordinance which was revised in 2026.
